SHOAL & ALGAE, wall sculpture

Salty sea and ocean blue come together in this Shoal and Algae. There 's little that suggest it more than this aluminum and blue copper artwork, reflecting light and color.

'Shoal and Algae' is an Original and One Of A Kind sculpture. Anne has only made one. She (hand) sawed the fish en algae out of 1 mm thick aluminum and copper, and drilled little holes in them. Then she sanded them all, oxidized the copper fish and algae shapes, and finally tied them together into the shoal shape with plated copper wire.

The sculpture is very suitable in a number of environments, rooms or places. It's beautiful both in private homes, as well in an office. A statement artwork for an entrance or waiting room, an eye-catcher in a living room, or to make a bedroom wall completely Zen or Feng Shui.

The VERY light sculpture is bendable to hang to the wall on a single hook, and then it becomes a 3 dimensional shape. You can also hang it flat to the wall.

Anne designed the first 'Shoal' in 1995. It was followed by Shoal II and III in zinc, various Long Waves in aluminum, Golden flows in brass and Blue Shoals in blue oxidized copper. Every Shoal was of course handmade and a One of a Kind.

I ordered this item along with some of the fish tiles and they were all absolutely fabulous! Far exceeded all my expectations. Anne was wonderful to work with and she and Cose shipped promptly, tracked the order and kept me updated, enclosed a sweet and informative note and even added a little surprise gift that I loved! Absolutely amazing sculpture - just as I'd hoped when purchasing! We ordered for our 10th Wedding anniversary and Anne went out of her way to make a uniquely special piece just for us. Wonderful, dynamic sculpture. It hangs on a wall perpendicular to a window of about the same height and reflects the natural light, changing appearance throughout the day. This is like having a water feature, but it is dry. Love it so much! Thanks, Anne.

Larger and heavier art pieces will take longer due to customs and paperwork.

We usually ship our art works by registered mail (larger and heavier packages with Economy mail with insurance), from Seville, Spain, by Spanish Postal Services. In other cases you'll be notified before hand.
You'll get the tracking number by e-mail.
