'Infinity', Soft Cubic Cross, Development of a cube, One of a kind:
In this work the main themes are ‘art, numbers and geometry’ and metaphysically speaking: 'beginning and end'.
The work is in fact the 'development of a cube', consisting of 6 square panels, upholstered with a classical image (after Renaissance painter Rafael). The central square reveals the scene as it is: the triangular composition of St. Mary, the H. Child and St. John Baptist ('the beginning'), centered and protected by an elevated golden circle, as looking through a peeping hole. The squares have the lay-out of a latin cross ('the end') and can in theory form a cube, as they are connected by hinges.
Anne ‘pixelated’ the five outer squares by cutting the cloth to ribbons and then weaving them again. The checkerboard pattern that emerged shows the typical diagonals, and the inversion of the weaving evokes a mirror image, as a water reflection... Now take a look from a distance and you see the symbol for Infinity appear.

Shipping: Ready-to-ship art works: estimated arrival within 10-20 days (depending on destination) from purchase date, so after your payment has cleared to our account. Made-to-order art works: estimated arrival 4 weeks from purchase date, depending on production of the art work.
Larger and heavier art pieces will take longer due to customs and paperwork.
We usually ship our art works by registered mail (larger and heavier packages with Economy mail with insurance), from Seville, Spain, by Spanish Postal Services. In other cases you'll be notified before hand.
You'll get the tracking number by e-mail.
