A SHOAL of hand sawed fish, tied together to a wave or net: Original and One of a Kind wall sculpture made of aluminum. The curves and delicate shine, which changes as you pass by, suggest the flow of water. The Shoal is VERY light-weight and for its structure it’s flexible: when you hang it to the wall on one hook it becomes a 3 dimensional shape. If you want it flat to the wall just use some extra hooks. You can also lay the sculpture flat on the floor as a kind of long narrow metal carpet.

Anne (hand) sawed the fish out of 1 mm sheet aluminum and sanded them, piece by piece. Then she pierced them and tied them together with plated copper wire into the shoal shape. Anne designed the first Shoal in 1995. It was followed by many other Shoals in different metals, with different designs of fish, and of different sizes. Every one of them was handmade and, although similar, a One of a Kind.
There's also a brass Shoal available, a Blue oxidized copper Shoal, and Shoal and Algae where aluminum and blue oxidized copper are combined.

Shipping from Spain
Shipping: Ready-to-ship art works: estimated arrival within 10-20 days (depending on destination) from purchase date, so after your payment has cleared to our account. Made-to-order art works: estimated arrival 4 weeks from purchase date, depending on production of the art work.
Larger and heavier art pieces will take longer due to customs and paperwork.
We usually ship our art works by registered mail (larger and heavier packages with Economy mail with insurance), from Seville, Spain, by Spanish Postal Services. In other cases you'll be notified before hand.
You'll get the tracking number by e-mail.
