SWARMING
Hand forged metal expression of a swarming shoal of fish, made by Cosé Manzano.
The heavy sculpture was created during Cosé’s bigger swarming project where he was studying the phenomenon of swarming animals, forming walls of living creatures, and how to eventually feature them in buildings and our environment.
The sculpture as it is represents a fragment of such a wall of swarming fish.
Cosé first cut all fish out of 5mm thick steel. Then he put them in the fire and hammered and forged them into their particular curved shapes. Finally he welded them one by one into an upward swarming composition. The shape of the pedestal reflects the shoal fragment beautifully, giving an impression of the fish jumping from the water surface.
The sculpture is sealed with a semi mat varnish to prevent it from oxidation.

Larger and heavier art pieces will take longer due to customs and paperwork.
We usually ship our art works by registered mail (larger and heavier packages with Economy mail with insurance), from Seville, Spain, by Spanish Postal Services. In other cases you'll be notified before hand.
You'll get the tracking number by e-mail.
