Jewel in a box, CARABALLO BROOCH: Cute little brooch in the shape of a Snail-Horse fable animal, designed by Cosé Manzano and handmade by Anne Klein H., packed in a lovely surprise tin.

The Caraballo (Spanish for Snail-Horse) is part of Anne’s new line of animal brooches: plain and happy designs with clear outlines, inspired by animal silhouettes.
Anne sawed the figure by hand and hammered it until the required thickness and rigidness. Then she filed the outlines and sanded the surface to a matt finish, taking care not to remove all traces of the making process, which in her view is part of the character of the brooch.

The (safety) pin is attached at the back with professional two component glue that holds extremely well.
The material doesn’t have a sealer so you can polish the brooch with metal polish if you like.

I have just received the brooch and love it. It is very well made. Anne is a very responsive seller. The British Post Office confiscated my parcel for 10 days and she was great in helping trace it. All's well that ends well. Definitely buy something from Anne if you like it

You can return any art work within 14 days of receipt if the item is still new and in it's original packaging and if you have contacted us within 3 days after delivery.

Shipping from Spain

Shipping: Ready-to-ship art works: estimated arrival within 10-20 days (depending on destination) from purchase date, so after your payment has cleared to our account. Made-to-order art works: estimated arrival 4 weeks from purchase date, depending on production of the art work.
Larger and heavier art pieces will take longer due to customs and paperwork.

We usually ship our art works by registered mail (larger and heavier packages with Economy mail with insurance), from Seville, Spain, by Spanish Postal Services. In other cases you'll be notified before hand.
You'll get the tracking number by e-mail.

Insurance: All art works will be packed with care and shipped by registered mail. If you wish to have your art work insured please contact us before purchasing and we'll adjust prices.
