After a year of Me Too and a day after the mass demonstrations on International Women’s Day 2019:
MUJER FLORERO II (Just a pretty face), a beautiful feminist statement
Mujer Florero II is a comment on the stereotype of woman who only has to be ‘a pretty face’, ‘a jewel in her home’, and be elegant and nice. Often she doesn’t need to work for a living, as she has a ‘good husband’ who works for her and her luxury.
This stereotype of woman is still used in advertisement industry and fills great deal of the amusement press and media.
In Spanish this stereotype is called Mujer Florero, a bold expression which compares women with a typical home decoration object: a vase. In English we deny her any content and call her ‘Just a pretty face’.

Shipping from Spain
Shipping: Ready-to-ship art works: estimated arrival within 10-20 days (depending on destination) from purchase date, so after your payment has cleared to our account. Made-to-order art works: estimated arrival 4 weeks from purchase date, depending on production of the art work.
Larger and heavier art pieces will take longer due to customs and paperwork.
We usually ship our art works by registered mail (larger and heavier packages with Economy mail with insurance), from Seville, Spain, by Spanish Postal Services. In other cases you'll be notified before hand.
You'll get the tracking number by e-mail.
Insurance: All art works will be packed with care and shipped by registered mail. If you wish to have your art work insured please contact us before purchasing and we'll adjust prices.
